Demo Protocol - Need appropriate and approved testing site. Usually conducted at a fire training facility.
- Equipment. A fire pumper truck that holds 500 gallons of water is adequate.
- Manpower is needed to operate pumper and hose.
- Materials to burn for an effective demonstration should include:
A table is needed to conduct initial table top demonstration 1 - 2 cars 15 - 20 tires 10 - 20 wooden pallets 1 old sofa or chair (to show protection capability) Diesel fuel & gasoline are also needed - (4) 2 1/2 gallon water pressurized extinguishing units
- 2 airline tickets, hotel accommodations and transportation for FFW employees conducting demo
(if demo is not within driving distance.) - Date of test must be scheduled in advance.
- Examples of Organizations that should be invited to such a demonstration include.
- Federal, State, City & Local Fire, EMS, and Police Departments.
